Is it a Degree or Diploma? |

It is a two-year full time Degree programme equivalent to MBA. In India, only Universities can offer MBA. Therefore even IIMs offer PGDBM. |

No. Sri Sri Institute of Management Studies is an autonomous institution |

Will there be University Examinations? |
| |
No. All examaminatios will be internal. |

What are the tuition fees? |

Rs. 2,55,000.(Full course) |

Is there a hostel? |
| |
No, but we will help students to locate housing on sharing basis. |

What about placement? |
| |
We have executives from TATA, WIPRO, EXIDE, etc. on our Board of Governors who have agreed to help in placements. Placements will be conducted from AOL's Bangalore placement office. We also have an understanding with Centurion Bank of Punjab (CBOP) ho will offer our students summer and final placements. |

Do you have faculty in place? |

We have on board highly qualified faculty members - the minimum qualifications are MBA/MCom. Three of our full-time faculty members have U.S. degrees and teaching experience. All adjunct faculty have MBAs and are specialists in their field, some working with MNCs. |

What about Computer Centre and Library? |
| |
State-of-the-art A/c Computer center is in place with 24 Hr. Broadband internet connection. Class rooms are A/c with modern audio-visual systems installed. Lectures will be mostly in Powerpoint format. All major international business periodicals will be available in Library and also major international text / reference books. We will also tie up with Goa University Library for journals, etc. |

When will classes be held? |

Most classes will be held Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 2 PM. Occasionally, weekend classes will be held to invite adjunct faculty / company executives. The course will be taught on a semester system - two semesters a year: July - November and January - April. Classes start in mid-July 2006. |

What other facilities are available? |

The college building will have a courtyard cafeteria. College building is at the heart of the town. Good eateries are close by. Sports facilities such as Cricket, Football, Tennis, Swimming are within walking distance. Beach is five Kms. from the college. Shopping areas are within walking distance. An International cricket/football stadium, where India-England ODI was played this year, is less than 1 Km away from college. This stadium regularly hosts NFL games. Movie theatres are also within 1 Km. |

What are the admission requirements? |

A Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% is a must for admission. Work experience is preferred. We will take marks in degree exam in account while selecting students. Students appearing for the final year degree examination can also apply. |

What if I have good grades but no money? |
| |
SSIMS has tied up with Centurion Bank of Punjab foe educational loans. These loans need to be repaid after finishing MBA say with 5 or seven years. If you take out a two lakhs of rupees five-year loan, approx. EMI will be Rs 4250/-, all of it tax-deductible |

I am a working engineer. Why should I worry about PGDBM? |

Most engineers in India make around 10-12,000/- per month. If you decide o make this two-year 2.5 lakh investment, your career prospects will be much brighter with earnings of at least Rs. 25,000/- P.M. Just read The Economic Times to see all the MNCs such as IBM, DELL, GE, INTEL, Cap-Gemini, ACCENTURE, and local firms such as WIPRO, TCS, INFOSYS hiring tens of thousands of employees each quarter. |
